Your Must-Have Exploration Pass

Purchasing an “Interagency” Annual Pass was a no-brainer for us this year. What is the America the Beautiful – the National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands Pass or “Interagency” Annual Pass? The pass covers entrance fees required at sites managed by the Bureau of Land Management, Bureau of Reclamation, Fish and Wildlife, USDA Forest Service, or the National Park Service. This means entrance to over 2000 sites!

We’ve already used our pass for the following:

American Fork Canyon (multiple visits) - $6 per vehicle or $45 annual pass

Red Rock Canyon Conservatory (twice) - $7 per vehicle or $30 annual pass

Yellowstone National Park - $25 per vehicle or $50 annual pass

Arches National Park - $7 per vehicle or $25 annual pass*

Mesa Verde National Park - $10 or $30 annual pass

And with more visits in the near future we’ll be getting more than our money’s worth. More information on the Annual Pass can be found here. Or to purchase online click here: http://store.usgs.gov/pass

Did you know there are more than 400 parks in the National Park System? What national parks have you been to? What is your favorite national park? Explore your state! Explore your region! There is beauty all around!

*An annual pass to Arches National Park is part of the Southeast Utah Group Annual Pass which is good for entrance to the following: Arches, Canyonlands, Hovenweep, and Natural Bridges.
